The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:56-57

My God, Perhaps the two surest things in life are sin and death. Amazingly that doesn’t have to be the end of the story, the end of my story. Death should win. Because of my sin my coffin should be nailed shut.The date on my grave stone should mark the end of me. But thanks be to God. Heavenly Father I love the word “but”. You alone give me victory and its through Your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. He won, Through Him I  win. Death where is your victory, grave where is your sting. I am not a victim but a victor.
