And he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”  And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood. – Luke 22:19-20

Heavenly Father, thank you for the New Covenant that makes the old obsolete. Thank you for the better priesthood after the order of Melchizideck,  the better promises of a writing of the law of God on our hearts and making us new, the better, heavenly tabernacle where a way into the Holy of holies has been made for us, the better eternal sacrifice of the spotless Lamb of God and finally  the better High Priest, Jesus Christ,  who ever lives to make intercession for us.
