Wanda Armstrong and her two young adult daughters need coats, hats, gloves, socks, scarves and boots in addition to jeans, sweaters, t-shirts and underwear. They also need toiletries and items like hair brushes, hair dryers, toothpaste, deodorant, etc. Clothing sized 11 (2 women) and 9 are what they need.

In so many ways our traditions have trivialized Christmas. It is so much more than family and what we have always done. Sadly, our society has commercialized Christmas. Its real meaning cannot be purchased with cash or credit card. The holiday itself doesn’t need to be revitalized. The problem will always be our hearts. Choose today to realize and celebrate the reason for the season -Luke 2:10–11 – And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. 11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
