Brothers, join in imitating me, and keep your eyes on those who walk according to the example you have in us. For many, of whom I have often told you and now tell you even with tears, walk as enemies of the cross of Christ. Heavenly Father, Because of the cross I can choose not to be captivated by earthly thing. Because of the cross I can choose not to glory in the things that are shameful to You. Because of the cross I can choose not to be ruled by my appetites making my belly my god. Because of Your work in me I am a friend of the cross. I embrace what it stands for and I love the Savior who hung there for me. In His name. Amen
